CITY GOLF CHRISTMAS PARTY

WOW…what a year! It absolutely raced by. To think that I arrived here as the Christmas Music started getting played in BSC last year is ridiculous! Happy 1 year Anniversary to me!

The Christmas Social that was held last night (Saturday 8th December) was a great way to kick off my second year in KL. Unfortunately there were a lot of end of year functions that most of our members had to attend, so our turnout wasn’t as good as expected. Nevertheless, the show went on and we had a blast!

Dermott Kelly and Paul Harney were just too good for the rest of us. They shot a ridiculously low score of -8 over the front nine of Troon North. I would love to brutally hack away at their handicaps, but I’m sorry to say that this score was what I would call “unusual” for these two. They are usually hanging around the 7 or 8 over par mark! Good work boys. You deserve the “W”!¬†We ended up playing 18 holes, and the back nine included some very childish rules.

After the golf was all said and done, we played a little game called “BEER PONG”. If you are familiar with this game you will know why this happened after the golf. Had it happened prior to teeing off someone might have lost an eye!

Thanks to those who attended! To those who didn’t attend, I will maybe consider letting you come to next year’s one!
