Compete in the Fusion Excel Long Drive Challenge on 10 September 5p onwards as the qualifier to the World Championship Final in April 2012. 4 divisions – Open, Senior (45 to 55), Super Seniors (55 above) and Ladies.
Entry fee is RM30 for guests and RM20 for City Golf members for 6 shots. The winner of each division will compete in the Country Finals before representing Malaysia in the 2012 World Championships.
City Golf organized a members golf outing at the Mines Wonderland at 12pm onwards on 27th August 2011 where 28 participants joined. City Golf members paid RM200 for the fee while non-members paid RM220. The prizes were given out to members and non-members respectively.
The winner of the event was Kevan Bartley with 35 points, winning himself ProV1 balls and a bottle of Singleton Whisky. Al Guthrie took second spot with 33 points, winning a fourball at Saujana Impian and ProV1 balls. Dave Kelly finished third with 26 points, winning ProV1 balls.
Kevan ‘The Bandit’ Bartley won yet another City Golf contest in fine style at the Mines. He graciously shared his bottle of whisky on the night to end off a great day.
St Andrews was the selected golf course for this TNT Social with a Ryder Cup style alternate shot stroke play as the format of the competition. TNT sponsored the refreshments for participants, where entry fee was free for City Golf members and RM50 for non-City Golf members.

Fusion Excel, in collaboration with City Golf, is organizing a Long Drive Challenge from 3pm to 10pm on Thursday 21st July 2011 at City Golf’s venue in Bangsar Shopping Centre.
This Long Drive Challenge is a qualifier to the Asian Long Drive Tournament where Malaysia’s representative take on their Asian counterparts, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and China in a bid to become Asia’s Long Drive Champion.
A number of qualifying events in Malaysia, starting with City Golf, will be held over a period of 6 months. The winners of each qualifying round would then compete in the Malaysia Long Drive final for a spot in the Asian Long Drive Challenge.
Entry fee is RM30 per guest for 6 shots at a Longest Drive at City Golf on that day, while City Golf members pay RM20. There is no limit to the number of entries per person. There will be 2 simulators set up for the evening, one for practice and one for the challenge itself.

A total of 15 teams participated in this edition of the TNT Social, with one last-minute withdrawal (this competition is capped at 16 teams) competed in the back nine at Castle Pines Golf Course.
Mark McGuinness and Bonnie Mack were the winners of the night with a score of +3, winning a Fourball at Impian Golf & Country Club plus Titleist ProV1 balls. Harold Raynio won the Nearest the Pin challenge with a score of 2.03 meters, winning a BMW weekend testdrive.
TNT sponsored the refreshments for participants, where entry fee was free for City Golf members and RM50 for non-City Golf members.
