Maybank Malaysian Open 2011 An Evening with the Stars at Double Tree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur
The title is a mouthful, but that was exactly what some 300 VIP guests got last Tuesday evening, 12th April 2011, when the organizers of the Maybank Malaysian Open organized an evening with the stars of golf. The highlights were definitely World Number 1 Martin Kaymer and Louis Oosthuizen. Unfortunately both Charl Schwartzel and Rory McIlroy could not make it for obvious reasons as they have only concluded participation in the Augusta Masters (which was highly entertaining by the way!).
City Golf’s mobile simulator greeted all the guests and the players as they made way into Ballroom A of Double Tree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur, which was a backup choice after the ever reliable Malaysian rain dampened the original plan of the event being held at the Tosca swimming pool.
Harith Iskandar, a Malaysian celebrity, got into the action with our mobile simulator. It was a fun night, great food and definitely great company!
